1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Fare Hacker ("farehacker.app"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. We may update these terms from time to time, and continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. What Fare Hacker Is

Fare Hacker is a search and optimization platform that helps you find better travel deals using points, miles, and cash. We provide tools and information to help you make smarter booking decisions.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features, you'll need to create an account. You're responsible for:

• Providing accurate information
• Keeping your login credentials secure
• All activity that occurs under your account

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

4. Subscription & Billing

Fare Hacker offers free and paid plans. For paid subscriptions:

• You'll be billed at the start of each billing period (monthly)
• Prices are listed in USD and may change with notice
• Payment is processed securely through Stripe
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — email us at hello@farehacker.app

5. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. When you cancel:

• Your paid features remain active until the end of your current billing period
• Your account reverts to the Free plan — no data is deleted
• There are no cancellation fees, ever

6. Affiliate Disclosure

Some links on Fare Hacker are affiliate links. When you click through and book, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This is one of the ways we keep the lights on, and it never affects the results we show you or the order we show them in.

7. Travel Disclaimer — PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

Fare Hacker is an information tool, not a travel agency. We provide routing suggestions, fare estimates, and travel intelligence to help you research travel options. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of any fare, route, schedule, price, award availability, or travel information displayed.

• Prices change constantly. Fares, award availability, and hotel rates shown on Fare Hacker are estimates based on historical data and publicly available information. By the time you attempt to book, prices may have changed. We are not responsible for price discrepancies.
• Missed flights, connections, and delays are your responsibility. While we provide airport intelligence, connection time estimates, and terminal transfer warnings, travel involves inherent uncertainty. Flight delays, gate changes, immigration wait times, and terminal closures can affect your itinerary. You are solely responsible for allowing adequate connection times and arriving at the airport on time.
• Award routing suggestions are not guaranteed. Award seat availability fluctuates in real-time. A route shown as available may no longer have seats when you attempt to book. Transfer times between loyalty programs vary. We are not responsible for failed transfers or unavailable award seats.
• Verify everything before booking. Always confirm fares, visa requirements, passport validity, vaccination requirements, travel advisories, and airline policies directly with the airline, hotel, government agency, or official source before making any booking or travel decision.
• Hidden city ticketing and other advanced strategies shown on this platform may violate airline terms of service. You assume all risk when using these strategies, including potential loss of loyalty program status, banned bookings, or denied boarding.
• Third-party bookings. When you click through to a partner site (Skyscanner, Booking.com, Viator, etc.), your booking is with that provider, not with Fare Hacker. We have no control over their pricing, policies, cancellation terms, or customer service.
• Travel insurance. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance for all international travel. Insurance recommendations on this platform are informational only.

By using Fare Hacker, you acknowledge that all travel decisions and bookings are made at your own risk.

8. Your Data

We don't sell your personal data. Period. See our Privacy Policy for the full details on how we handle your information.

9. Acceptable Use

Don't use Fare Hacker to:

• Scrape, crawl, or systematically download content
• Resell access or data from the platform
• Interfere with the service or other users' experience
• Violate any applicable laws

10. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and branding on Fare Hacker is owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any part of the service without permission.

11. Limitation of Liability

Fare Hacker is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fare Hacker and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or bookings, arising from your use of or inability to use the service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
